Being in the process of finding my own setting, I’m curious about how you communicated your vision to BGD. Did you provide photos/examples or just verbal directions? I love the tips of the prongs on your setting, and I love the swoop curve of your basket. It’s a really custom look, beautifully executed.

Thanks @LightBright this is a custom setting and yes, I sent photos and we spoke at length about different details. I probably inundated them with pictures in the end so my advice is to try and be concise, grab a few pics and point out what you like from each and leave Brian and Lesley to work their magic.

Lesley sent through pictures of different waxes for the swoopy basket to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted.

I couldn’t have asked for a better interpretation of what I envisioned.

If my ring is what you want then just ask for mine, customised for your stone. It’s not on their website though, as I said, it’s a custom make but will be worth it for those little tweaks that will make it your own!

FedEx have shown a customs delay on the tracking because they need the AUSFTA paperwork which is in the shipping pouch but they didn’t look! I’m crossing everything it doesn’t hold delivery up!!

I’ve let them know it’s there and Lesley is going to email it to me - on her public holiday no less... just wish they’d open their eyes!!

I’ll be crossing my fingers that FedEx processes everything on time so by Monday evening you’ll be wearing that gorgeous ring. I remember when I ordered my tennis bracelet from IDJ I was excited but stressed that there would be delays. Once Fedex rings you to pay the customs and gst, you know that you’re almost there
