I''ve been lurking here over a year and it''s been my daily routine drooling over so many beautiful pieces posted here. After much consideration, I found myself loving the work of BGD and MWM, which I pressed my bf to get for e-ring.
Now I''m finally here proudly to announce that I got engaged on New Year''s day
and here''s my e-ring.
1.275 ct Brian Gavin Signature Hearts & Arrows
G VS2
Size 5.5
Mark Morrell Petite Torchiere
For those of you considering getting MWM setting but hesitating because of the heart-shaped prongs, let me tell you. In real life, you can''t see it as you do in overly enlarged pictures. I once was about to ask my then bf to have MWM make non-heart-shaped prongs, but I decided not to and I''m so glad to stick with MWM''s original prongs. It''s absolutely a lovely piece of work and it doesn''t look like hearts at all, even from a relatively close distance (say, 5 inches). They are so small to notice its shape!
Now here''s pics you guys are probably more interested in.
