I thought I'd show some of my jewelry that's remained hidden. There never seems to be enough hours in the day when doing night shifts! So, instead of doing a thread for each piece, I'm doing it all together with no body shots and minimal detail, to economize on precious free time!

Here goes:

First up, onyx and diamond leverback earrings in 18k white gold. I'm considering the matching necklace.

Next is a pair of 18k yellow gold double-star drop earrings set with blue-green tourmaline.

Next is a pair of 6mm untreated Maine blue tourmalines, set by the jeweler in sterling silver to keep the cost down. I love the stones and might change the setting to white gold in time, but I'm very happy with them as-is, because the bezel is both wide and deep, which I like. Got them on vacation in Maine and they're from the 1972 Dunton Mine discovery on Plumbago Mountain in Newry, Maine. Guaranteed to be completely unheated and untreated - and the jewelers gave me an appraisal stating as such, which is reassuring.

This is a mobius necklace set with a pink tourmaline in 14k yellow gold, on an 18-inch chain. I also have a chain with small mobius stations, but it's at the jeweler for a polishing.

This is a James Avery butterfly pendant on an 18-inch chain. It's large and heavy, and I got it for less than half-price from the estate section of the jeweler's.

These earrings are 18k yellow gold set with 8mm akoya pearls.

This is a solid silver acorn with an 18k yellow-gold-plated cap. It feels lovely - heavy and substantial, and the chain is 18 inches with loops at 16 and 17 inches. I think it looks like Asprey's Woodland collection. You can't really see in the picture, but when worn it's quite pointy which looks elegant, IMO.

This is a pair of silvery South Sea pearls on sterling silver bows. They are quite large, which I like.

This is a 5mm blue zircon solitaire. I wear it with the blue Maine tourmaline leverback drops.

And finally...everyone together.

Oh wow your pieces are so fun and lush. I really, really like your collection! The butterfly necklace is so pretty!

Lovely collection Jambalaya. You are truly the collector. So great that you enjoy all your pieces.

GearGirly - thanks! The butterfly was a very unexpected find. The chain is actually longer than 18 inches, I think, and the piece looks great over a crewneck navy sweater. Thanks for your comments!

LLJSMOM - thank you! My jewelry really cheers me up. However, I do have quite a lot now, and you have to stop sometime, so there are three more pieces I want and then I'm gonna have to cut myself off! Probably not forever, but I want to go quite a long time without buying any. I really have enough for three lifetimes!

Beautiful, beautiful pieces! I love your taste in tourmalines, such pretty, sparkling blue-greens and blues.

Thanks so much, Kylier! I don't have anyone in real life who appreciates my jewelry, so it's really nice to share it here.

I bought some more jewelry and just wanted to share. I discovered this pre-loved store and his prices are SO good! His store has been there for over thirty years and is very reputable. I think he just does it as a hobby, really - he's not open very often, and only he works in there - no assistant, ever. Maybe he has family money or something.

The dragonfly is from him, 18k gold with plique a jour enameling.

The big win is the gold Tiffany 1837 circles pendant. It currently retails for $1,550...mine was $500 preloved. I wanted this piece for ages. I'm familiar with the edging, weight, and finish of this Tiffany piece and it's definitely real. One third of the price!! I just couldn't believe it.

My third piece from him is the little diamond flower. It's Tiffany, platinum, 0.20 diamond weight, and is an old piece from the Tiffany Garden range. He charged me just $350 for it. It looks very small but when it's worn, the petals really stand out as they are separated/delineated very well in the design. I could not resist a Tiffany plat/diamond piece for that price.

The pink pear is a rubellite tourmaline piece that I've had my eye on for ages, from a different store.

The onyx and diamond pendant is from Blue Nile and matches the earrings that I have from them.

Enjoy the photo!

And last but not least, the mobius necklace with the stations, like the large mobius with the pink tourmaline - from the same store - but with smaller circles.

What a lovely collection! :appl:
