Just wanted to share some pics and info on my new e-ring. I''ve spent the last year on this forum researching and perusing pics for ideas. The ring I ended up with is a combination of several different styles I saw here and at the jeweler who made the setting. The center cushion cut stone was purchased from a wholesale diamond dealer and the setting was made at a local jeweler in Santa Monica, CA. It turned out exactly as I hoped!
Stats:
Cushion Brilliant
6.56 x 6.44 x 3.95
Carat Weight: 1.36
Color: E
Clarity: VVS2
Depth: 61.3%
Table: 66%
Girdle: THN to VTK, F
Culet: None
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Good
Fluorescence: None
The setting is a platinum graduated pave band (smaller near the top) with a pave halo. It looks like many rings I''ve seen on this site which I hopes means it''s a modern classic. I originally wanted something like the Tiffany Legacy, but decided it was too chunky on my hand. So this ring is more delicate in appearance and the stone faces up big. The halo makes the center stone look so much bigger too which is always fun.
