Just wanted to show off my 20th anniversary ring that was a loooonnngggg TWELVE YEARS coming.
So, I bought my 2.01 ct L color round brilliant with the help of you fine folks here on Pricescope way back in 2010. I couldn’t immediately have it set in the custom platinum setting I had designed and quoted by Single Stone at the time so I had it set in an inexpensive white gold halo setting from eBay. Somewhere in the meantime, I discovered Caysie of CvB Inspired Design and quickly became obsessed with her work. Fast forward to a few months ago, after helping two of my sons source, design and purchase engagement rings for my precious daughters-in-law, both in yellow gold, and I knew it was time for mine as well…also now in love with yellow gold. I fell in love with Caysie’s stock design, the Sienna, but I was nervous about going from a halo to a non-halo…but decided to go for it anyway. Fast forward two months and here she is and I could not be more thrilled! I can’t bare to take her off at night even. I swear my diamond looks larger without the halo…crazy. Caysie was an absolute pleasure to work with and I will definitely be reaching out to her for another project very soon (a ring for my 5ct Columbian emerald).
Anyway, here she is with my also newly designed and purchased stackers. The bottom two are from Karat Jewelry Group and the top one is from Master Jeweler (Gagik). Both were sourced via Etsy and were a pleasure to work with as well.
For reference, my ring size is a 9.5 due to falling and breaking my finger (and my pinky) two years ago.
