Since we''re having such a small wedding, FI and I decided to make the invitations ourselves. We weren''t able to find a kit we liked, or the minimum for custom orders was 50 invitations, so we just started from scratch with 6x6 square envelopes, 12x12 dark green cardstock, and 8.5x11 clouded vellum. It was my design, but FI did all the cutting, measuring, and embossing (very tedious). I addressed the envelopes, glued in the details, and tied the bows. The embossing plate I liked most has basically set the theme for the entire wedding—ivy. No reply cards were necessary since we''re in direct contact with all the guests. Out-of-town guests will also get an insert with maps/hotel information.

Sarah,
These look great! Your FI is definately great with detail work!

There is only 1 problem.. I can''t see where the wedding is taking place-it is coming up cloudy on my monitor....

. I love the details and the fact that the spacing and placement of the text is nicely done so it makes your work look very professional. Fantastic job!
