My first RHR!! SO EXCITED!!

Hi everyone....

Some of you know I''m currently waiting for my custom e-ring and wedding band to be finished in October. Well...I''ve been dying to have my rings...but in the meantime I''ve been eyeing RHR''s as well. Yesterday I was out with a friend and spied these new toys. They ended up coming home with me! I plan to wear them as my RHR.

They are two pave set stack rings with millgrain detail. One is 1/4 ct in wg, the other is 1/2 ct. (I don''t think you can tell too much...the stying is the same just the ctw is different). I think I''m in love and I may have finally found something to help my cope with my last month or so of waiting.

Actually Whitehall jewelers is going out of business so I went to a maul store here locally. I''m usually not a huge fan, but I took them to my jeweler and he was SHOCKED at what a great deal I got on them. He laughed and said he was going to go get some for his wife!

They are liquidating all their inventory. I have my eye on a topaz necklace I may go back and get this week before it''s gone.

I would go...they had some really good stuff at low prices. Their gemstone stuff was 40% off. I''m having to control myself so that I don''t go back AGAIN in less than 48 hours. My poor FF will kill me. There are just so many things on my list!!

He told me to go and look since he knew I wanted a RHR and our Ering is taking longer than expected. He''s a keeper...he understands my obsession and still feeds it!

Ooooo, nice finds, they''re really lovely. They look like a just right size. Are you sure they''re different carat weights? They look pretty close to me.

Thanks gemgirl and MMD. According to the store one is 1/2 ctw and the other is 1/4 ctw. They are both the same color and clarity though. They both have the same pave and milgrain detail so when they are next to each other it is really hard to tell. (At least for me it was) I was just so happy at how sparkly they are. I''m an EC girl, so it''s nice to have a bit of fire on the other hand.

Yes, the FF is a doll. He''s been very patient with me through the custom process. He knows how picky I am, and also how much I am drooling in anticipation of my ring. He''s actually the one who found out about the sale and told me to go. He just said "Have a ball and enjoy yourself. Bring home something pretty." Gotta love that!!

Wow, what a find! They are gorgeous. I didn''t know WH was closing either. There are some about 2 hours away from me. Our local Brendan''s closed without much notice and I guess several of their stores nationwide are closing as well.

Marcyc and Catmom that is so nice of you to say! I didn''t know that WH was closing until my FF said so. I guess they didn''t give too much notice. Normally I''m not a fan of mall stores, but these were just too gorgeous for me not to take home. I''ve always wanted a diamond RHR (I have several with colored gemstones)...so I guess it was meant to be.

I absolutely LOVE

your ring btw! I have it saved in my fav''s file because of the shape. (Love EC''s) I just love the calm, "mirrorlike" look it gives off. To die for!
