My First Tsavorite and I am in LOVE...........

I''ve wanted one of these for awhile now, so as a present for still being alive and kicking my hubby indulged me with a gorgeous tsavorite ring! It''s a 1.27 ct almost loupe clean [only one little goober] emerald cut tsavorite set in an antique style Parade setting, 18kt white gold with .34 cts of G-H VS2 - SI1 diamonds. I love it! The color of the tsavorite is amazing and almost impossible to capture in pictures. I have to say that if my little stone is so amazing I can''t even begin to imagine what Pandora''s, Pokey''s and Harriet''s really look like in real life! I would really encourage anyone who is interested in a tsavorite [Sparky! hint, hint

] to get one.

Ellen, believe me when I say you do not want to go through what I did and still have to, to get a bauble or get away trip! It is literally a reward for still being alive and able to function. I had a mini-stroke several weeks ago which they found to be caused by a hole in my heart. I am currently on "stroke-watch" until they can perform the procedure to close the hole.

Thanks, Linda! Yes indeedy, it was scarey there for awhile. Not open heart surgery, thank goodness. They actually take a titanium patch that is double sided and thread it with a catheter through the leg and up into the heart where it fits into the hole like an umbrella on each side. After awhile the heart tissue will grow into the patch making it a solid plug. I''ll be able to come off the coumadin then and will be good to go!
