A good friend of mine got engaged last night and I thought I''d share the pictures with you

It is a stunning ring with a 3,1 carat floating diamond... the only other spec he can remember is that it is F in colour... men!

AARGh just realised that I said it was a 3,1 carat ring! It is a 0,31 carat ring, sorry. MSB I will post more specs and photo''s tomorrow as soon as I get them.

It looks great. Clean modern design, and I agree that it looks great on the hand.

It''s tough to tell from the pictures but it looks like there is a "basket" of sorts supporting the diamond and connecting the two bands. Is there one?

Ok for those interested, the only information he has on the stone is that it is 0,31 cts, G and SI1.

The receipt says that it is tension set but he tells me there's a little basket underneath the stone... odd that! I've asked him to take photo's from underneath the stone over the weekend so I'll share these on monday.
