Thank you all for your sweet comments! She is sooo excited! We went out yesterday to a gem show and she tried on a bunch of bands. She likes the thinnest, teeniest little prong set melee bands... The ones she loved were less than 2mm... Any thoughts on where to get such a thing? It''s hard to find them so thin!

It is .49 cts... It''s uncerted, but the jeweler (and myself) louped it. It''s around a H/I in color, and about SI2/I1 in clarity. It has some white clouds in one corner, but you don''t really notice them much. We found it at a discount jeweler''s store... He was on an extremely tight budget, so i''m really pleased we could get her such a sparkler for a great price!!
