Hey, it''s a million degrees and 100% humidity in Texas at the moment (105 actually, but close enough), so getting hair and makeup done and taking pictures was quite interesting. My hair appointment was at 11, makeup was done around 12:30, the car ran out of gas and I had to stand in the heat while waiting to get rescued**, the photographer was caught in a traffic line behind a pileup on the highway... needless to say it was a long day! The silver lining in all of this however is that I know my hair and makeup are going to last the day of the wedding!
This picture was taken at about 8 pm at the end of the shoot. We were outside on a street corner in downtown Houston. I am very happy with the hair and makeup. I might make a few minor adjustments to the hair, but overall she accomplished what I was going for.
** My sister drove my car for me from hair appointment in Bryan, Texas to Houston, about a 1.5 hour drive... and neglected to let me know that the gas light came on around Navasota which is just twenty minutes into the drive. It turned out fine, but wow, was I upset! And I couldn''t cry because I didn''t want to ruin my makeup even more than with just the heat and humidity!
