I was the biggest most excited dork to see my board up for a vote. And I immediately recognized Ams board because she is the one who inspired me to do my own. Those gorgeous shades of purple are just to die for!

I adore your tree centerpiece inspiration. Those, are a dream. And my favorite centerpiece of all time...bar none, my own included. Those became popular after my own wedding...but had I known, it would have been ON!!!! I would love to see them at more weddings, they are just so expensive that it almost becomes cost prohibative if you're having 20 tables...the first time I saw them, they were quoted at about 300.00 a piece, and at the last bridal expo I went to, they were showing them starting at 450.00 pp.

As far as your colors, I love the indigo blue and plum...so beautiful. They just blend together so effortlessly and what I love most, is that you'd never expect that. I would never think to put blue with purple, but the effect is so calming and lovely.

On your board, I see a New Years Eve wedding. It's not cute or modern, your wedding so transcends that. If I walked into that wedding, I would lose it. You nail it with the texture. You have just enough glam bumping up against that rustic feel.

I don't normally go banana's over peoples wedding because it is so rare for me to see "new" things (that doesn't mean however that I'm still not impressed with how well people put things together) ... but you've wowed me on a whole different level. You have spot on taste.

You deserve to win, big time!!!

I had a feeling that those centerpieces were going to be expensive...I ALWAYS pick out the most expensive thing

Maybe I can start working on a good DIY alternative?...New Years Eve is pretty close to what we''re planning actually...We''re either getting married in early Dec 09 or early Jan ''10. I''m actually leaning towards Jan because I dont'' want people to feel put out around the holidays...if that makes any sense.

Anyway...once I have the e-ring on my finger (which hopefully will be in the next couple weeks) is when the planning really starts

...I''m definitely going to need help with trying to achive the "look" without going crazy with the money...and it seems you totally "get" what I want....you''ll be on the top of my Go To list for sure!!

PrettyInpink your board is very lovely. Your having an fall wedding correct? That''s the sense that I''m getting from your board. I love the purple and orange together...and the way the cake is showcased is beautiful. I love candles so I think they should pretty much be used everywhere.
