#JOTW My long waited EC ring

As a newbie here, wanted to make a debut by sharing my new EC ring.
It was not easy getting the EC in Korea because the demand is so rare here but with the help of my long term relationship jeweler, I finally met this beauty after a two-month wait.

1.8ct EC
E VS2
Excellent Polish & Symmetry
with 0.43ct melee diamonds on the side
in PT950 setting which makes it perfect!

I think the ring size is 5 or 5 1/2. (The measurement is different here so I am trying to remember the size of my graduation ring!)

The stone is from the States and the setting was done in Japan.

It looks bigger in the picture than in real life :p

Wow, so this is why people post their blings on PS. What a great welcome and warm compliments from all you! Thank you so much.

One thing to clarify, though. This is not my engagement ring. I had a RB ring for 7 years and for the 7 year anniversary, I have decided to move onto my all time favorite EC diamond. It has been posted on the PS blog as Jewel of the Week, and I thought "ooops, should have been more clear with the details."

To sum it up, this is 7 year anniversary ring and thank you so much for all your warm remarks. Would love to become more active as a new PS member. Sending you lots of love and thanks.

ECs are really starting to grow on me. I like spare, stark feel they have. It's as if they're waiting for me to notice them - as opposed to stones that seem to shout for my attention - but once I do, it's hard turn away!
