Here is my 6mm garnet set in yellow. It has many different moods, but my favorite is when it flashes bright orange-pink indirect sunlight. Unfortunately the first pic is the best I Could get of that, but it looks dark in the photos. Side piCs show off the orangey salmon Color too :).

So pretty in that setting!!!

Does it go dark a lot? I keep hearing garners go dark that's why I've stayed away from them.

I love the salmon colour in your side pic.

Hi. The stone itself never goes dark it is more my Camera that Can't take good photos and makes it look dark. In the first piC was in sunlight with bright orange-pink, but the Camera either makes it look dark or less Color for some reasonm.

I used to think that too but the garnets I have managed to buy surprise me all the time. The dispersion is always crazy. And in morning light they show their primary colour and evening they show a secondary. I love how they change personality. And they are way more sparkly than any other gem around the same price range. In natural light they compete in brightness with my mehenge spinel. Also no two are the same.

This Color is what I see most of the time pink-peaCh with bright orangey flashes although the Color is more saturated in real life than the photo
