My NEW 5 stone anny band from .... SP

The Raphael from Signed Pieces with 1.38 tcw, set 18 kt WG. I upgraded from the SP 1.03 to this one for NO APPARENT REASON !!! I just wanted to. And yes it is a gift for me, from me. Of course, the first ring was my wedding band but the new one was just a treat for the heck of it.

I''ll be calling Isaac at SP every few months to let him know I''m sending him my ring and to please whip me up a bigger version of it ! My prediction is by the end of summer, I''ll have the Raphael, 5 stone with a 2 ctw

Now before anyone has a hissy fit

, I want to put it out there that the avatar is NOT my cat, nor do I know to whom he belongs. Although I am just twisted enough to break out the tequila, limes and sharp paring knives and attempt this at home, I have not.

I guess there is a limekitty web site out there with a bunch of similar photos of citrus fruit peel hats and slighly agitated-looking felines .... clearly there are folks out there with way too much spare time on their hands !!!!

Hello ladies ! Thanks for the posts about the ring. Posting pics gets me all excited !! It''s cool to share my things of beauty with nice folks WHO GET IT when it comes to enjoying sparkly little carbon nuggets.

To those asking about SP''s upgrade policy, I just picked up the phone a while back never thinking for a minute that they did NOT have an upgrade policy ! I announced to Isaac that it was "Kathleen from Chicago" and that I wanted ..... you know the rest.

He looked up my initial purchase in their system and reminded me what I paid for my first ring, then said he''d call me back with what the upgrade would cost. I got full credit for the first ring, and they charged me the difference.

We then arranged the plan for the switch .... he said he''d call within a day or two before the new ring was ready and that I was to ship mine back. And that''s what we did.

I have not figured out if the ring I asked for was "Custom" or if they make the Raphael in standard carat wts. The only bump in the process was that I asked for 1.5 cts and was quite surprised that the final ring was a little smaller .... hmmm.

i think the answer to your question above is;

to hit the 1.5 ctw they would need to use .30ct stones but, that will take it up to the next size range .30-.37 ct (cost more per ct) i''m sure they can do it but ,it will cost you more dollars for about the same size look.
