Ok so I always wanted some bling in my wedding band...well now I''m going to get it. I just got my pictures today and will get the ring tomorrow. It is platinum with 5 AGS graded ACA H&A''s H&I color and VS2-SI1 clarity. I won''t be able to post pictures with my engagement ring yet because it''s at Eightstar being recut....should end up being D color, SI2 clarity 1.10ct. The setting is a modified x-prong. I''m so excited and Whiteflash was FABULOUS to work with!! I love the way the ring is so low set!!

I forgot to mention the sizes, they are .21 and .22

Sorry

Oh my, that's beautiful!

I love Whiteflash. I have .03 melee ACA's from Whiteflash in my asscher setting, and they sparkle like a dream come true. I can't imagin what .22's would look like? You wanted bling...you got bling-bling. There is something to be said about having triple ideal hearts and arrows on your finger. It's like having Tiffany lighting on your stones no matter where you go.

I know you will love it.

Thanks, a few people said that it may be "too big" in proportion to my e-ring diamond but that word is not in my vocabulary anywhere...........as far as diamonds are concerned

What a lovely wedding band! It really is bling and yet very tasteful. TOO BIG? Are they nuts? The only people who would think that is too big are the ones who want it to be theirs instead of yours.

Congrats and best wishes.

Beautiful, just beautiful.
Too big? Why there's just no such thing!

Can I ask a question please? I am obviously new here but you mentioned having your stones recut? Please explain this one to me.

Oh its gorgeous, simple and stunning. The best way for diamonds to be in my opinion. I bet you are bubbling with delight. Do enjoy it, you'll get lots of glances!!

Sorry you haven't had your question answered! I'd recommend asking this question on the Rocky Talk board and possibly there individuals with experience can answer. I know little about having stones recut other than you loose a bit of carat weight. . .lol

Seven.....with all due respect, it's not as though there have been 48 replies to this thread since you asked the question. ONE person has posted, and she evidently didn't have the answer to your question.

Please understand that folks don't just sit on here waiting for questions. We all visit here as time permits, and a little patience usually goes a long way.

I'd gently remind you that getting uppity or snippy because you didn't get a response yet is a pretty sure-fire way to continue getting no response.

As far as your question......having a stone recut is exactly what it sounds like: taking an existing stone and cutting it to better proportions. You lose a small bit of carat weight (how much depends on how drastically you are altering the cut.), but hopefully gain either better proportions or better clarity.

Beautiful!!! I can't wait to see the two rings combo'd and your NEW eightstar!

Great choices!

Thanks for the answer. Didn't mean to get snippy. Just one of them thar days.
Boy what a concept, recutting. I swear I learn something new every day here.
