Hi PS''ers!
Here''s my new Asscher Upgrade! I''m loving it!!!
Tim at Good Old Gold was awesome to work with! I was casually looking online for a little while and when I came across this one I knew it was it. The stone is awesome. At first I was a little hesitant because it is an SI1 but it sure doesn''t look like that to me. It has one tiny dark inclusion that I can see from approx. 3 inches from my eye (I can see pretty good up close) hehe. But its right in the middle so it blends in w/ the center. And b/c its an SI1, the price was really good.
I''m loving it soo much!
Here are the specs:
Asscher cut (cut-cornered square step cut)
1.54 ct
SI1
H
6.44 x 6.43 x 4.40
Symmetry - Very good
Polish - Very good
Fluor- none
Crown Angle - 38.0%
Crown Height 14.4%
Pavil Angle 45.3%
Pavil Depth 51.2%
Table size 66.1%
Total Depth 68.1 %
Girdle - slightly thick
And on GOG''s OGI Fire Trace it scored Ideal in all Brightness, Fire, and Scintillation catagories
I know the depth is a little high and the table is a little big but in my eyes its perfect
and that is all that really counts right?
I was able to get some really great shots w/ my crappy camera too, so I was pretty pumped about that. The first pic was taken from GOG.
Enjoy!
