My new cushion sapphire ring with tapered french cuts!

Hi Everyone! I wanted to take a minute to show my new Ceylon sapphire ring. This sapphire was originally a replacement for the Princess Di ring (in the family shot). Luckily the local police found the Princess Di ring, and I got to keep the new ring (I am spoiled).

The center stone is a 3.95 ct (10.06x8.04 mm) antique cushion cut, peacock blue, Ceylon sapphire with a Lotus gemology certificate. The side stones are tapered french cuts totaling 1.05 ctw with G/VS quality, where the first diamond is 5.5mm wide. Here are some more pix along with a shot of the "family".

3. My original engagement ring - an unheated Ceylon sapphire from Cherry Picked set with two AGS000 0.82 ctw diamonds - thread here and here

5. Princess Di ring - No thread for this one. It's a 3.9 ct, oval, unheated Thai sapphire. It's set with 1.2ctw F/VS round diamonds.
