My new diamond and platinum toe ring!!!!!!

I'm so excited! This is my diamond and platinum toe ring! I had it custom designed and made for me by Larry Smith of Maui Toe Rings. He really went the extra mile and added a lovely engraved design to the sides of the ring. It's very difficult to photograph, but here are my best attempts. I've worn a toe ring since I was 14 years old. I started with sterling silver, worked up to yellow gold, and after that one broke, decided it was time to upgrade to my "forever" toe ring and get diamonds set in platinum. It is so unbelievably fabulous!!!!!! The diamonds are very bright and very clean - I can't see any type of inclusion through my loupe. This is the epitome of luxury!

Wait, is it hinged to go on and off easier? That's really cool!!

Yep, it's hinged. My toe size is 2 1/4, but my toe "pad" is much larger. Maybe I'm part gecko or something. Anyway, a 2 1/4 would never slip over my toe so we had to go with a hinge. These adjust-a-shank hinges are usually used for people with arthritis or anyone who has a joint that is larger than their finger/toe/etc.

I loved your toe ring when I first saw it, but that hinge is fantastic!! Does it lock in place? That is so perfect! If your feet
ever swell for some reason you can get the thing off! I love it. I just may have to get one. Totally perfect. Okay maybe two.
After all, I do need one for each foot! Love love love!

I looked at the website, and there are so many to choose from? Can you tell me how many points you went with? Do they do
the hinged thing often, or does it make it uber expensive? I would really love to see more how the thing works. Does one
side of the thing swing away so you can get it off?
