Thank you so much for your kind words. Most of my friends ( and hubby) thought I should just learn to live with the stone I had, so had it not been for your support and encouragement, I probably would have given up long ago. Thank you so much for sticking with me so that I had the confidence to resolve this to my satisfaction. I really love the new stone and the setting is timeless. It is exactly what I wanted! Doing the happy dance here in Atlanta!

Yes, the band I'm wearing with the ring is the one I got married in. I didn't wear it with my original ering, but wore it for the ceremony. My original ering had a matching diamond band with it, but I felt that this ring needed to be center stage and I kind of like wearing the actual ring hubby put on my finger 8 years ago.

WOW, THAT IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RINGS I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!

The cushion is gorgeous, and I absolutely LOVE the sidestones. Are those bullets or shields or kites? What is the total carat weight of the sidestones? The proportions are perfect with your cushion.

Vespergirl, you are too funny! They are bullets, .32 carats each. I've got about 167 pics that I could post, but they are terrible! The dang flash keeps going off, even though I was taking pics outside. Grrr....I'll keep trying though! I want to have photos worthy of being on PS and my new ring certainly deserves better than what I've posted so far.
