here is my new ering. i am taking it back today tho because i think the prongs are to high and the diamond looks like its floating up to high, but other than that i love it : ).

First, congrates!!!! What an exciting part of life....lots of fun now!!!!!

The diamond looks gorgeous, and I agree about the high setting. Mind you Im sure irl it doesnt look as bad as it does on the big screen. But a bit lower wont hurt.

While you are there you can have a play with wedding bands

It looks great on your hand - beautiful ring! But it is really high! But whatever you do, the ring really suits your finger, and your finger shows it off very well!

Beautiful - very simple and classic

Yes, very very high! You''ll probably be glad to have it lower, people tend to knock high-set rings on things

Your stone looks very pretty!

I would probably have it set lower--more comfortable for you that way!

Congratulations, it''s beautiful!!

It is set pretty high. If it makes you uncomfortable or you''d prefer it lower definitely get it fixed! It probably won''t get caught on as many things if it''s set lower :)

Congratulations on your engagement! It is set very high. I hope the jeweller can fix it for you.

Yes, absolutely, ditto Musey. I''d have it lowered a tad. You will bang it if you''re not extremely mindful of having it on and being more careful. That''s hard to do every minute of every day.

Ditto on lowering the diamond, but congratulations on your engagement and gorgeous ring! If you do get it lowered, please come back and post pics - I''d love to see a before-and-after.

Gorgeous setting, but I agree it''s set way too high. You run the risk of damaging both the setting and stone. I would have them set it lower, and it will be perfect! Congrats!!!!

It''s lovely--Congrats! I agree about lowering it for safety--very pretty ring!

Beautiful!! I think it could be a little lower... Congratulations!!

Congratulations on your engagement! It''s beautiful! Come back with "after" pics if you get it lowered!

It''s beautiful! Congratulations!!!

Just so you''re happy with your BEAUTY!

It is beautiful, but I can see where you might think it is set a bit too high.
Congratulations!

Beautful!!! but you will love it a little lower ;) WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I do love the setting and stone :)

Oooh very pretty!! I love high settings but I agree that it seems a tisch too high. :) ENJOY!

It''s lovely! Congrats!

very pretty. I would have it set lower too. Congrats!

I agree with everyone that it could be lowered a smidge but it is still beautiful. Congrats!
