Hi!

My boyfriend propsed to me last week while we were on holiday in New York, so we finished up a great holiday with a visit to Tiffanys on 5th Ave. I have already posted pics of my ring in the under one carat thread, but now I have more photos and it wants it''s own thread! Here it is in the box:

And one on my finger:

I forget to mention it''s 0.54, G, VS1.

We also got the matching wedding band, here they are together:

It''s so hard to get good pics of rings, I''m impressed by everyone else''s photos! Here they are again:

Haaaaahahaha. This cracked me up so much! OF COURSE "it" wants it''s own thread! "It" has a hunch it''s pretty darn gorgeous, and "it" wants to show off "it''s" new friend too!

Great rings, and what a fabulous way to end your holiday! I love the substantial and elegant look of that style, congrats!

Shiny shiny! What a great set!

Thanks everyone! I love looking at everyone else''s rings here (so many pretty ones) so thought I would add mine (and yes, it kind of did demand its own thread as I haven''t been able to show it off to my family and friends in person as I live in a different country to them!).

The rings together as a set were really what sold me on the solitaire - I think they go well together as a pair.

What a wonderful holiday. Congratulations!

Very sleek and pretty! Congratulations!

I''m glad you started a new thread...it certainly does deserve a thread of their own! Your rings are beautiful! Congratulations Kats!

Congrats on your engagement. I love that set together. What a treat, 2 Tiffany rings and you get to get them from the flagship 5th Ave store.

BTW, that lovely e-ring setting makes the stone look soooo BIG.

Congratulations, your rings look sooo elegant. Please post more!

It''s a beautiful set...congrats...

Thankyou!

Jewels, yes, the Tiffanys experience was great - we got champagne! Also, coming from the UK where rings are very expensive made Tiffanys affordable with the great (for us!) exchange rate.

More pics? Well...if you insist!

It''s hard to capture its sparkliness in photos, but here''s one in the sun:

I love that set-they are gorgeous together!! Congratulations on your engagement!

My most favourite T&Co setting- you are so lucky to have lovely long fingers! Congratulations!

Thanks LisaC, I was concerned that it looked a bit bulky on my fingers as they aren't huge (size 5 1/4) but it's my favourite setting too and I couldn't go past it!

Your set is gorgeous!!!
