I recently was inspired by another post who had a custom ring made where he had carves natural designs. I can no where near afford him but i found a beautiful flower/leaf vintage setting from DiamondZone I feel in love with. It is really hard to capture the richness and red glow the ruby gives off in most lightings, and comes out more pinkish/darker in the pics (especially on my finger) than in real life, so I apologize, but I tried my best, here are a lot of pics :)

Ruby Specs:
-59.ct round/ 4.9mm
-AIGS report as heated only

Lovely. Origin?

Beautiful red stone!!! What a great find. And that setting is the perfect match. I love the nature theme of the setting.

Thank you! the pics don't do it justice, especially not capturing the bright red glow I see all the time.

Your new ring is beautiful! It is such a lovely red and looks to have a pretty glow! I love the setting you chose to put it in too! Well done! Love this! :appl:

Thank you! This was actually a re-set from a yellow gold setting i had put it in. I realized white gold looked better, and really wanted this setting so I went for it :)

woops sry, It was sold to me as a Burmese ruby (I have another one from mozambique that I got it mixed up with), but I have no idea if that is true :)

I love this! It's gorgeous and has a nice looking glow from the pictures. Beautiful!

Your ring is utterly beautiful! The setting is so intricate! I am sure that it is magnificent in person.

The ring is so pretty; I am sorry that yellow gold didn't work out for the ruby.

Very nice. I was surprised to read how small the ruby actually is. The proportions of the setting really optimize the gem size. I'm so glad you are seeing the "Ruby glow". It is indeed hard to photograph it but most important is that you see it and are enjoying it. I'm so glad to know about this particular setting. Great job!!

Here are some slightly better pics on it on my finger :)

Wow, I love your ruby ring!

The ruby is lovely and I adore the setting. I am so happy to see that the level of detail does not disappoint- beautiful! It is something I would choose for myself.

Enjoy the lovely glow and vintage romance of the setting!
