My new Montana sapphires

One of these is from an Ebay seller I mentioned the other day and the earrings are second hand. Both turned out to be better than expected. The larger blue one is 6.28 and the teal earrings and 5mm. They are so sparkly! My house is dark so the stones look a little dark too in my photos. The seller called the larger stone light blue but I feel it's a medium.

I think this is the last one for now. I want to take some outdoor photos too. This photo is not flattering the earrings very much. I swear they are very pretty.

Oooh, those all look beautiful to me! I love the colors of each of them, even though you say your house is dark you can see the blue colors well. I bought one not too long ago that only looked blue in direct light. Super pretty! I would love to find a pair of Montana sapphire studs like those

So pretty!!! Can't wait for the outdoor pics, and they will certainly make beautiful earrings! How do you plan on setting them? Studs? Part of a drop-down type dangling set of earrings? What are you going to do with that gorgeous larger stone?!?! So many choices

They are already set into studs. I'm not wild about the settings, but since I really want to set the larger soon I'll probably leave them in the basic 4 prong setting for now. Nice to be able to wear them

I'm very happy with the color myself. You know how hard it is to tell from online photos sometimes. I was really pleased as soon as I opened the package, which is always a good thing.

You should totally get one!

I like the big one and think it is a light blue as well, not medium, but what matters most is that you love it so that's great! I hope you'll have some time to photograph your earrings in the future where it'll do them fair justice.

I did take a a couple outdoor photos very quickly today. They aren't super shifty stones. The earrings maybe a little bit more than the large one but there isn't a whole lot of unusual shift going on. Of course the colors look very bright and pretty outside.
The pic of the large stone is in the shady garden so no direct sun light. And the photos of the earrings are in low afternoon sun. I hadn't noticed until I took these photos that one is slightly greener. Interesting.

I noticed the other round sold. Was it someone here? Hope so.

Holy cow! I didn't even notice that they were set until the new pics - yay for you getting to wear them right away! And, the larger stone is really stunning - I love the soft yet bright color that it has outside!
