My new (old) Ebay bling....

I wasn''t going to do it, but I''m so glad I did. I bought a vintage hamilton diamond watch from ebay. I''ve been wanting one for so long, something blingy and delicate and this is it. I took it to the mall and verified the diamonds were genuine. My hubby loved it too and he had his doubts (as usual).

I''ll try and post pictures... I think we decided it''s about 3.75 or so carats. The band is different than others I''ve seen, it''s like a tennis bracelet. I paid less than they were asking on ebay and I think I paid a fair price for it... I love it...

Also in case anyone forgot...

My heart diamond is E SI1 3.67 (I haven''t had the chip fixed yet)
and the eternity band is F-G SI1 3.10 carats
and the watch they said about 3.70 and Bluewhite (old term) VVS

Thanks so much for all the nice comments. I really love it too... Ebay is so addicting...it''s my largest purchase on there to date.

One little tip for other ebayers. When you pay with pay pal, use your credit card even if it says no return, don''t worry. Your credit card company has that fraud protection and if it was misrepresented and you simply state your case (for example if the diamonds on the watch were not real), I would have disputed it, and the credit card company would have credited my money back. I bought a rug once, that said it was certain kind of rug, and when I got it was dingy yucky and not the type of rug they said it was....I got my money back quite quickly, and then the seller contacted me to get their rug back and I happily sent it back (the seller was shocked because they said no refund, no returns and told me too bad when I disputed it). So, just thought if anyone thought how crazy I was to do this type of ebay purchase, using my credit card makes me feel much more at ease shopping.
