I finally took some pictures of my (third and absolutely final) wedding band!
It's turned into a long story, but if any of you remember one of my first posts on here, I had a knife-edge pave band to (sort of) match my ering. Well, after having it for a couple months, and deliberating on it, I finally decided that I didn't like it at all and decided to look for something else. Well, by the time I found "the one," my 30-day return policy time had way run out on the knife edge one - and I wasn't about to try to return it to Adiamor after the 30 day policy was over, because I'd already done that to them once (the very first band I bought was a matching notched band and I didn't finally decide to exchange it until 3 months after buying it). I wasn't sure they'd be so kind to me a second time.
I ended up making some silly decisions in selling the old band to (partially) pay for the new one that was priced much lower.
I chose a very roundabout, pricey way to decide on the right band. And FI was sure I was insane by the end of it, but I learned a few lessons in the process so it's okay now. It's just money. *sigh*
So - (and this is making a long story short) here's my new wedding band! I love it!
When I found her at the local family-owned B&M, she was already my size! If my memory serves me it's 13 bead-set pave diamonds totalling appx. 20 pts (I'm having them appraise it soon for insurance purposes), H-I color, SI1 clarity (just like the pave on my ering), with milgrain edging, in 14K white gold. Also it's 2mm wide.
I like it because it's similar to my ering but not matchy. And it's skinny (height-wise) so it slips under the head of my ering a lot more than the knife-edge ering did.
Here's a whole slew of pics! Enjoy!
