I saw this mentioned on the coloured stones thread and just had to have another look at this gorgeous ring! I can''t believe how much life the stone - concave cuts really rock! Beautiful setting and just perfect on your hand. Congrats. How did your FI give you the ring in the end? I think I remember reading he''d hidden it after purchase

We were in his hometown and he took me to the butterfly house. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been--MILLIONS of butterflies fluttering around, and every now and then one would land on your head or shoulder. He proposed in the middle of the garden in the center of the house. It was perfect.

That is actually the box from my jeweler. I think they are beautiful and very representative of his work. I would have still loved my ring if it had came in a cheapie black box from China, but the beautiful box made the presentation even more spectacular.
