My New Tiffany Lucida Engagement Ring

I got engaged a couple of months ago. It was a complete surprise. My then-boyfriend, now fiancee, presented with a Tiffany Lucida Engagement Ring in Bali when we were on vacation. I was so shocked by the whole idea that I didn't say yes (!)

My mind was occupied my thoughts about my parents, his parents, the idea of getting engaged. I thought he didn't ask my parents' for permission, and the whole thing was just completely out of the blue. He later told me that he planned the whole thing in advance, and he also asked my sister to go with him to meet my parents at my parents' place because my folks can't speak English. He is rather spontaneous, so I was surprised and touched by how thoughtful he was.

About two month laters, we went to Cebu for vacation. When I stepped into the room, I saw flowers and chocolate, eventually my fiancee got down on one knee and proposed. This time around, I said yes

As you can see, I kept everything, even the paper bag!

I am thinking to get the matching 4mm Lucida band from Tiffany later on. I haven''t seriously tried on the different styles that Tiffany offers though. Any suggestions?

However, I don''t see any cool wedding band for male!!?? I am thinking a thicker band as well for my husand-to-be.

StephensBride, definitely!! When I first wore it after it was resized, I thought it looked so much bigger on my hand. So I guess it is all relative. Whew!

I have been addicted to this forum and read that a lot of people have upgrades or purchased a different set of engagement ring/band for anniversary. Do you have any such experience? I am curious as to what people do with the original one? I cannot imagine turning my Lucida into something else, but you only have 10 fingers available!
