It''s a E VS1 ideal cut with hearts and arrows, GIA 3 EX. Original it was set in a split shank setting but the jeweler didn''t tell me it does not fit for 1.27 ct so the prong tips fit poorly on the stone. Therefore I have to reset the stone. I was talked into a Cobb''s Precise White gold setting. I searched the forum and haven''t found anyone has owned a Precise white gold ring so I thought I''ll post some pictures of it.

on my finger. Sorry a little blurry -- I don''t know how to take clear pictures of it with my digital camera. Also another tips on taking pictures of hearts and arrows?

I LOVE your setting!

That''s a very cool setting! I like how it kind of swoops up to hold the diamond!

The setting is so beautiful. I love the added touches to make it an unique solitare.

Gorgeous ring!!!

Very pretty. Can we see a picture from the top too?

What a beautiful anniversary ring! LOVE IT, congrats and Happy Anniversary!

Thank you for all the compliments. That warm my heart. The Precise White gold supposedly will stay shiny and white for good. No rhodium plating is needed ever. I have observed that the brilliance and fire of the diamond are easier to see in this setting when it was in the previous setting when the diamond''s cutlet was visible and open in the setting. Why is that? On the other hand, I didn''t see girdle reflection in the previous setting but the girdle reflection is very obvious in this setting.
