Hi All,
I have been visiting this site for quite some time trying to figure out what my dream ring would look like. My 25th Anniversary is not until next year but we are starting the celebration early.
My former ring which I still have, is a 2.5 round brilliant in a Jeff Cooper setting. I fell in love with halos and started out wanting to reset the round diamond. Well that snowballed, because I thought if I'm going to go reset I better be happy with the diamond size. I started shopping for a cushion diamond and settled on a GIA 4.50 ct. J/SI2.
Next came the setting. I originally wanted a big substantial setting (slightly gaudy) to make the round diamond look bigger. That all changed when I purchased the cushion. Now I was looking for an understated setting to show off the diamond. I looked at so many settings I lost my mind.
Thanks to you all, I met with Victor Canera. I would have never found him on my own and appreciate you all for highly recommending him. Victor did an amazing job on my ring and it turned out better than I could have imagined. Also, a special thanks to my husband who just wanted me to be happy and gave me the green light.
I have not mastered the art of diamond photography so here's the best I can do for now.
