My Newbies to add to my collection!

First up, a greenish-blue tourmaline from Jeff at Whites Gems

Stats:
1.40 ct. and 6.8 mm. Jeff says the color is very nice, and clarity is also good. There are a few inclusions confined to the corners of the stone, but they do not impact the appearance and are very difficult or impossible to find face-up with the naked eye.

I have another tourmaline from Barry but it is larger, round and has a more blueish tint so I''m hoping this stone will statisfy my green stage :->

Jeff is also cutting me a new asscher from a more minty green tourmaline parcel. Hopefully I will get that later this month as well.

Next up my Rhodolite Garnet from Gene at Precision Gem.

Stats:
2.9ct and 8.2mm square cushion cut. This stone is eye clean. I''m thinking I will set this in the LOGR legacy setting that is oh so popular on PS.

Finally a lavendar spinel from Dana at Master Cut Gems. This is not the actual one but the color inspiration I have. Dana has a roval that he will recut for me into either a round or a cushion. Pictures coming soon...

and now that I think about it I also bought a minty tourmaline from Dana too! OMG I think I overdosed on minty tourmalies this month

I adore the colour and cut of your Jeff W tourmaline - I saw the similar one (a bit more blue/darker I think) in his gallery and was immediately drawn to it.

i actually already have the garnet from Gene. That arrived about 2 weeks ago. I think I might have posted it in a group shot of some of the stones from my collection. I think the picture is very true to RL. The color is wonderful. Now I have to stop spending money on stones and start saving for settings!

Finally found the photo of the green tourmaline I bought from Dana at Mastercut Gems. For some reason i thought it was more minty but I look at the descritpion and it is different- Extremely bright green!

he calls the color extreme green so I will be interested to see what it is in RL.

No not right now for that stone in particular. I''m just not sure. I think I will probably go with a LOGR. Do you have any settings ideas? i would love to hear them!
