My old cut marquise

I posted about this in RT but thought I would put it here since I’ve decided it’s a keeper! The ring has an old cut marquise stone measuring 10.33X4.99X2.60 and is .79 ct.
It’s shallow and at first I thought it might not have enough sparkle for me, but I became more and more charmed by the shimmer. I find it’s the type of stone that you have to keep very clean for it to look its best. Good thing I’m obsessive about cleaning my stones! I am enjoying stacking it with different bands.

It was the pawn America store. They have eBay and a website. I browse their stuff quite a bit - many people share their things in the “somebody’s gotta buy this piece thread”. Nice people and good prices!
