my pearl ring project

with a matching band for hubby sans pearl, though.
been in process for a bit of time.
saw the waxes last week and local "artisan" [same as person who made my Pompeii earrings] has put the final touches to it and into the kiln it went today.
silver w/22k gold bezel for the pearl and strip on the band.
band will be textured.
should have rings next week!
yes, another chunky ring for MZ......LOL!

freshwater......not expensive.
nice luster though.
said "artisan" had it in her stock and I just went with it.
the cost of the pearl was miniscule compared to the actual ring........

I love adding gold to silver. I tend to do it much more randomly than that design which is wonderfully clean and clear.
We have only recently been able to get the gold assayed and hallmarked over here. It used to come back marked as sterling silver with metal which was a bit off an off-putter. Now provided there is enough to sample it comes back silver with whatever ct gold.
How is the pearl set?

The ring designs are unique and interesting. I've never seen anything like it. Did the artisan come up with the designs or were you inspired? I love interesting designs. Please post photos when you get them.

pearl will be bezel set in 22k.

I was playing with the "artisan's" rings, put two together and said i'd like something like this...we went from there.
