My Pink Sapphire E ring and band Upgrade is Here

Well, After three weeks of waiting, UPS showed up yesterday and when I opened the box it was stunning. My husband could not believe how gorgeous it was. Not only did it come in the rosewood box but it came with a folder with a personal letter from Su Su, cleaning and care instructions and the certification. You have all seen my Birks set posted three weeks ago made of diamonds and yellow gold. My husband said I could get a white gold setting so that I can wear it on days that I wear all my white gold. Not a big fan of mixing golds. So, I choose this setting from the Natural Sapphire Company with a Pink Sapphire for my e ring upgrade. They also made me a custom matching band in diamonds and pink sapphire that sits flush to the setting. Here are the specks. Enjoy. The Natural Sapphire Company is one of the best I Have ever dealt with.

Antique style setting 18 k white gold
Ceylon Pink Sapphire, cushion cut, non heated IF VVs1 1.28 ctw 7.08 X 6.82 X 3.50
Side Diamonds. .35 ctw F VS1/Vs2

Custom band: 11 round cut pink sapphire, 11 round cut diamonds, VS1/Vs2 F colour

Hey all,

Thanks for all your great comments on the rings. They really are fantastic. I have been wearing them all day and their are quite heavy. Great quality. I just tried to get some photos as I was sitting in my livining room as the kids nap and the sun came in and the pink sapphire just started to sparkle-like a diamond. Unfortunatly I could not get it on camera. I will have to try again later.

Legally Blond came on tonight! Doesn''t she get the pink sapphire engagement ring at the end??? That is a beauty. I love the alternating band. I am glad to hear you had a good experience with them. I look at their site all the time and drool.

Yes, she does get a pink sapphire e ring on legally blonde. I think that is were I first fell in love with the concept of a pink sapphire as an e ring. When I got married 8 years ago, I was young and dumb and thought diamonds were the way to go, but my fiance (now husband) did not have much money and we had to get a small diamond (.36). But now, I have this amazing up grade to wear when I am in the mood for something different and I have my originaly set when I want to wear yellow gold.
