I had my engagement ring re-set, which took quite a bit longer than I had anticipated, but it''s finally done and I''m very pleased with it. The shank of the new ring is a Tony Cavellti 3.5 mm comfort fit, 18K yellow gold band, to which I added a custom crown. I had the crown made by a local jeweller, which was inspired by some of the rings I''ve seen here on this forum. The crown is made of 19K white gold with four x .05 hearts and arrows diamonds. Apparently, according to the jeweller who made the ring, 19K white gold doesn''t need to be re-rhodiumed. I have paired it with my new channel-set diamond band. As usual, my pictures leave much to be desired...I really need a better digital camera. Anyway, here goes...
