My ring is paid for!!!

Just had to share my excitement - my boyfriend bankwired the payment to JA yesterday and the transaction is complete and my ring is paid for in full and in production! We are having a 3 stone (3 emerald cut diamonds) custom made from JA. I am SO excited!!! Estimated ship date is July 20!!! OMG I just can't wait to be engaged!!

Haha thanks! Yea I'm so excited. My boyfriend is actually away right now, and so the ring will get here before he gets home (hes visiting family out of the country). Its gonna take so much willpower to not open that box. OMG. I've seen the pictures and specs of the diamonds, But I DONT want to see the actual ring until its on my finger! And actually, he's taking me away for my birthday to Las Vegas at the end of July. I know he is going to propose on that trip - I just don't know when. So hopefully by the end of the month, I will no longer be his girlfriend, but his fiance!! Wow I just can't believe it! I keep thinking - "is this really my life?" haha. Anyhow, couldn't be happier right now! And thanks for the dust!!

When my bf went to pick up the ring, I didn't want to see it until he proposes too. At the end of the day, he made me see it. I am glad I did because one of the pave stone is missing and the diamond is set way too high. I dunno if you're aware of my other thread about the problems of the ring. Anyways, so, we have to go back to the store to get it fix. The second time when he picked it up. I'm like, this time shouldn't be bad and I didn't want to see it again. My bf was like "maybe you should... what if something is wrong again?!?!" I did and something IS WRONG!!!! The diamond is kinda off, not really in the center. I was so upset. They had to send it back to Tacori. I've had enough with their goldsmith. The third time, we went TOGETHER to pick it up and it's perfect. OMG.

Sorry, I'm not trying to scare you about your ring. I'm just telling you about my painful experience. I'm sure your ring will be very pretty. DUST!

Holy crap! Yours is even sooner than mine!!! THATS SO EXCITING! Do you know how he's planning to propose?? And I think I did read somewhere about your problem with the ring. Thats crazy but I'm so happy that everything was perfect in the end! Thats wonderful! I think I'm going to encourage him to take it to an independent appraiser prior to proposing to me (there is a PS appraiser within walking distance of us). I initially had thought we could do it after the proposal, but maybe he should go beforehand, especially since we'll have the ring so far in advance. He's pretty OCD and meticulous, so if something is off or not quite right, I think he'll be able to see it. And if he can't see it, then hopefully the appraiser will. Anyways, how exciting! Do you also feel like OMG I can't believe this is happening? I definitely do.

omg. my bf is very OCD too. The reason he wanted me to see the ring because he saw something wrong with it. He just want me to confirm the problem. I have no idea how he'll do it. I told him I want it to be a "surprise" and a romantic night. Something I'll remember for the rest of my life and that I can share with all my friends and friends on PS! I was like "you have to do it properly, like get on one knee and stuff." Like I said, he is so OCD, he might think the ground is too dirty. LOL. The ring is in the my mom's safe deposit box in the bank. Right after we put the ring in the bank, I'm like.. OMG I can''t believe it... when are you going to propose. I'll be asking him all the time. (I'm bad) But now, the excitement kinda dies off.
