Hi everyone, I thought that I would share these pictures of my engagement ring with everyone, enjoy!

Here are the specs:

setting: Verragio 0284 (modified). My fiance had Verragio stop the pavé diamonds at 3/4 of the way around as compared to all the way. The "bridge" under the center stone was also modified to include diamonds on the portions that face you.

Center Stone: 1.5 carat

cut: ideal

clarity: VS-1

color: G

Did I miss it, what is the center weight?

Gorgeous Ring! Congrats!!!

Just curious as to why you chose to stop the pave from going all the way around? I know you can''t see it anyway, but just love to hear diff opinions bc I was planning on doing it all the way...

Oh! And Hand Shots Please!!!

My fiance actually picked this one out all by himself and after speaking with the jeweler, he decided that having the pave go all the way around there was more of a chance for a diamond to fall out. Also, he thougt that if the ring ever needed to be resized it would be easier withouth the pave on the bottom.

I hope to have hand shots up in a few days.

All so true... I guess I just figured that losing a pave diamond was kinda inevitable... Didn''t think about the sizing thing!

I have to say that he has fabulous taste!!!

Like the ring a lot! Normally not my style, but it is just so neat and sparkles like mad!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!

A lovely ring...althought, personally, I''d be uncomfortable wearing a ring with a diamond set that way. I''d be freaked out that I''d "knock" the diamond loose since it is hovering.

Wow! Your ring is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the look of how the diamond is just suspended there. Congrats!

Love it! Ditto on seeing hand shots....

It isn't that scary, I am just always aware of what my hand is doing. Anyway, that is what insurance is for.

He purchased it from Marshall Piercein downtown chicago. Both the diamond and the setting were purchased there. The setting was made by Verragio.

That setting is stunning... and your stone is beautiful...
