My sapphire ring is done! I'd been thinking of having it set in rose gold, white gold, or sterling silver and decided I liked the whiteness of sterling silver the best (plus it was the most cost effective route.) I originally considered having my sapphire set by Sally at Heart of Water Jewels, but decided to go with Daniel M since the wait time was shorter and I liked their u-prong setting.
The specs are 2.99cts, 9mm, from Umba, Tanzania, sold to me as unheated and cut by this seller on Etsy:

I plan to wear this ring on my right hand, but photos are of it on my left hand since I needed to hold the camera with my right! Daniel M did a fantastic job setting my stone. I think turnaround time was just about a month. Lots of pics to come!
