I saw her napping and all I could think was how uncomfy it looked. I love how when I turned on the camera she looked at me and gave me this look as if to say "Excuse me, but can''t you see I am sleeping here?" *sigh* She is such a cutie!

thats a very cute puppy!!! FI loves taking pics of my kitties when they sleep..but they always wake up just a tad like that and look annoyed.

oh my gosh i love her bed..that''s SOO CUTE!!!

we should post our sleeping puppies here. i LOVE a sleeping puppy.

Most of you have seen this before, it''s Portia napping at about 7-8 weeks...now this looks uncomfortable!!!

I took this one today, I looked over my shoulder and there she was...head hanging off the couch and her body nestled in the crack between two cushions. Too funny!

She was like this for over an hour!

Thanks! I bought it for her on the Things Remebered web site during a sale. It was less then 20$ even with her name on it. And she loves it.

Mara and Matatora your sleeping dog pictures are just too cute! I don''t think I could get my Jack Russell terrior still long enough to get a photo like that!!!

hehehehehehe. This cat person isn''t just a cat person! She loves all animals and especially pix of sleepy puppies! :) SO sweet!

Here is my daughter with Oliver.

Thank you Morticia. And I''m LOL''ing at you adding the comment about Rosie. Because that is what we do here all the time. "Look at Oliver!" Then, "Yes, Rosie, you are cute too." Rosie has the "older sibling syndrome." When a new baby comes home the old one suffers.

i LOVE them!

sometimes i think my love for the furry ones is a bit out of control . . . FI and i went for a run on the beach this morning (sigh, i just LOVE living in CA) and it was all i could do to stop myself from running up to every pup i saw out walking. they''re such lovable, loyal creatures . . .

Your daughter is very lovely, and she looks so happy. I think it is wonderful how sweet and comfy you and your puppy look.

All your sleeping puppies are ADORABLE!

Oh my gosh! Those pics are all so adorable!

Oh my gosh Oliver was tooooo cute!!!

Love that pic of Rosie, it looks like she is trying to escape from Mom''s clutches...P tries that all the time.

Speaking of puppies and dog love...we have SO many dogs in our complex and in the last 6 months a bunch new were brought home...we currently have a tiny shi-tzu puppy that comes out sometimes, she''s only about 9 weeks and the current puppy terror we all adore is squirmy little Rocky, a black pug who is about 5.5 months now and about 8 lbs, and SO CUTE. he loves to give kisses when you pick him up and what a wiggle worm!

So any time Greg starts cooing about getting a new puppy, I just steer him outside at 5-6:30pm and he gets to play with all the new dogs and get his ''fill''.

I admit I am insane about dogs....my new coworker has a pug and when I went in last week I met him, Max, he''s such a cutie, 9 months old and very hyper...he wanted to be held in my lap and was uncontrollable with the kisses. When I went home, P was stuck to my leg sniffing and then she gives me a look like...YOU CHEATER!

i know -- my dogs can TOTALLY tell when i''ve been out talking to other puppies. they get very scandalized by it.

i completely covet a new puppy, i bug FI about it like every day -- but in reality, we won''t do it . . . two is more than enough, i''m sure. however i would love a bigger dog that i could run with on the beach . . . i''ve taken mr. velt running with me before, and he tries SO hard to keep up . . . but he only weighs 12 pounds after all. there''s only so much he can do!

my little sister is considering getting a pomeranian puppy, so perhaps i''ll live vicariously through her -- those dogs are the cutest !

What a doll!

This pic brought a smile to my face today.

LOVE the monogrammed bed!

Mara, there must be something with Terriers that they like to sleep with their heads hanging down low, lol. Rosie was sound asleep in these positions until she heard my daughter''s camera. Her position in this one cracks me up.

Most of my pictures of my dog are of him sleeping. He sleeps so darn much that when my mom asks what he''s doing she automatically says "he''s probably sleeping" and laughs. So here''s a sample to put with all those other cute pics you all have posted. Aren''t his PJs cute??? BTW, Mara, that is by far the CUTEST picture of a sleeping puppy that I''ve ever seen!

What a cutie!!! And I do love his jammies!

Thank you! I couldn't resist buying them for him. He has his own wardrobe (mostly just shirts with cute sayings), thanks to my mom.

And don't you think it's funny that despite the fact our babies have such big beds, they manage to squish themselves to one side or in the corner? LOL. My baby has a bed big enough for two of him, but he always squishes himself on the side.

Iasked my vet about that, he said it made them feel safer to have their back to part of the bed/wall/person. Dogs are social creatures and given their choice will choose to sleep in a group for the most part. I know Ava is looking forward to being back with her puppy pals and having someone else to nap with.

That''s very interesting....

Aww.... I JUST LOVE ANIMALS!!! :)

Portia is funny in that she can sprawl out and nap in the middle of the floor totally exposed at times but other times she scrunches up against my leg or on my chest or something...so I guess it depends on her 'mood'. When she sleeps with us sometimes I find her on Greg's pillow or I turn my head and her butt is pressed against my head or something. Thanks Portia.

LOVE the jammies, too cute!!! P also does the whole sleeping all day thing and when I am working from home literally all she does is move around the house in different sleeping positions. aka yesterday it was up against the bottom of the stairs, and then on the couch for a few hours, and then downstairs in the sun by the french doors, and then back on the couch for a few more hours. My mom also asks 'what is she doing'..SLEEPING!!!

Patty, she definitely sleeps in some weird positions...it MUST be a terrier thing!

Our Yorkie did not move for 20 minutes!!! Love all the doggie pics!

Oh look at that little cute mouth line, I LOVE doggie mouths through a line of fur!!

OMG, aphisiglovessae! That pic with your dog in its jammies is too cute!
