my stone in a temporary setting

my stone is currently being set into a leon solitaire, but thought i''d share with you all some pictures i took when i first received it. i want to thank you all so much for being such a wonderful community...i really learned a lot here (who knew there was so much to learn about diamonds??)

the stone is 2.3 G SI1

how thin is your shank? i want mine as dainty as possible, so i requested 1.8mm.

It''s pretty thin and the work order said as dainty as possible as well. I''m guessing 1.6-1.7mm. However, it''s still very sturdy!

What a lovely compliment! I can''t help but compare stones as well - mine is a 2.2 and a G SI1. I hope you will always enjoy your stone as much as I have enjoyed mine - it has been a great combo for me!
