Hey everyone!
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I finally got to pick up my Tacori rings today and they are terrific! They really took the time to make sure everything I found fault with last time was corrected, and they didn''t rush them either (took like 4 or 5 weeks this time). I can definitely see an improvement in the milgrain with the machine versus the hand engraving they used last time. The rings are actually ROUND this time and no scratches, the stamp inside is correct, and all the diamonds are set evenly. They even took the time to make sure the table of the center stone is set parallel to the ring and none of the arrows are covered.
and most importantly...THEY FIT!!! WOO HOO!! They were enlarged from 5.75 full to 6 full each so they are kind of loose on their own but I only have 2.5 months to go before I get to wear them both (yikes)
Now the bad news is that my fiance has our digital camera in DC with him. I am going to visit him this weekend so I will try and steal it away and bring it back home so I can take pics. I took the wedding band and his band to get them engraved and leaving the ring there I felt like a mom dropping her baby off at school for the first time...I am so nervous about it! I can''t believe I let myself part with it again but they are reputable and I will get them back in a few days. I really wanted our rings engraved for the wedding.
I just wanted to thank everyone for their support, advice and kind words over the past few months (since DECEMBER 04!)it really helped me to get what I want. I finally have my Tacoris!
