thanks to everyone for your help. i was able to pick my ring out with my now fiance, and it was a total saving grace to know about the world of diamonds prior to purchase. here are pics of my ideal cut, round brilliant, three stone 1.57 tcw trellis g vs1 engagement ring on my size 6 finger. i initially didn''t know that i wanted proportions so close (.4 on each side, .77 center) but i think it works. very classic, very simple and delicate. i''m not an extravagent little lady (although give me time, hehe), and i think this is a nice ring and tastefully done. it sparkles like crazy! let me know what you think!
