Here it is! the replacement for my e-ring/wedding ring. New center stone GIA I SI2, 1.73, one of the sides is my original .81, plus a matching new side stone. The baguettes are from my original setting. I created the design in photoshop, it''s platinum with little diamonds embeded in the basket (pave?). I have lots of pictures of varying quality I will try to post . I am absolutely thrilled with the end result, so glad I included the baguettes! they really make the ring mine

It''s a beautiful ring! Congratulations!

It''s beautiful! And that''s one of the nicest baskets I''ve seen. Very meaningful that you incorporated stones from your original ring into this one.

It turned out great - who did the mounting?

Rosie,

Your ring is absolutely stunning. I love it. Your did a fabulous job designing it.

Thanks so much for the comments, ADCO diamonds, Boston, MA handled the entire job. They were great to work with and were very competitive on price. They were able to finish the ring from start to finish in just a few weeks since they do everything within the jewelers building. This was one situation were the better deals are inside the city and not in the burbs. This same ring would have been double in price if I went to our local jewelery store and would have taken much longer to create since they send everything out.

The one thing I still need to get used to on this ring is the weight, it''s very heavy compared to what I was wearing before, there is a lot of platinum in this ring! but I wanted it to be chunky, I''m sure in a week or so I will have adjusted to the new feel.

Good luck adjusting to all the extra weight!!

Just do a few extra dumb-bell curls with that finger!

Love your new ring! How about a hand shot from above so we can see how beautifully it spans your finger? You did a fabulous job on the design - it''s very classy.
