My two new rings: blue sapphire, mahenge spinel

The blue sapphire is quite small, 7x6 heart shape. The mahenge spinel is also small, about 1.2ct.
After I bought an emerald ring a couple months ago, these are chosen because of the color green-blue-kind of red...lol I guess next one will be a yellow stone
Hope the color doesn't come off too much.

Yes, they do look pretty nice, no one would think they were from ebay. Especially the heart setting, I bought that one by making an offer, and won the oval setting on auction. So the diamonds on the oval setting are only single cuts, and not as clean as the heart setting. For the $$ I'm not complaining. They both have a nice finish on the metal too!

I didn't realized that a heart shaped stone can look so pretty on a ring! My friends have been saying that I should avoid heart shaped stones, but this one looks so pretty I might just change my mind
