My Vatche Royal X-Prong Ering from Winfields!

Hello fellow PS’ers,

The hunt is over! I found the perfect diamond at Winfield’s and the ERing for my gf has just came back from being set at Vatche.

Here’s the diamond stats:

The setting is a Vatche Royal X-prong ($1952) with a size 5 ring.

I want to thank Wink and Melissa at Winfield’s for all their help and support. Their personal attention to my search, their quick responses and overall ideal costumer service set them apart from all others. Other online vendors kept trying to push diamonds on me that were below my spec''s and over my budget. So I really appreciated the no pressure atmosphere at Winfield’s and could really tell they were looking out for my personal interests above simply making a sale. Not to mention the awesome price Wink got me for the diamond!

I’m still planning on popping the question at her parent’s lake house in mid October while we are star gazing out near the lake (gonna be a full moon

). I even purchased a lighted presentation box so the ring looks stunning even in the dark.

I also want to thank all of you for your advice and the knowledge I’ve gained here. I’m almost sad the search has ended cause I have had so much fun learning about the nitty-gritty of diamond quality. I’ll be sure to keep you all posted on how the proposal turns out and some on-hand pictures of the ring

Be careful where you pop the question! One of my admittedly clutzy friends proposed on a pier, and when he opened the box the ring fell out and down into the sand below the pier (thank god not in the water). They had to go buy a flashlight and look for a few hours before finding the ring. She was a little pissed...

Ring itself looks great...I''m sure she''ll be happy.

Lol yeah I was actually going to do it on their dock but other PSers warned me about the hazards of doing that in an earlier thread so I switched to the grassy hill that over looks the lake. No water hazards up there

LED light presentation box with the lights off. These pictures dont do justice to how pretty and sparkly the diamond looks with the lights off and the LED shining on it. It practically makes it glow.. really awesome.

Lol not to worry Wink. I took no offense what so ever. Plus I''m really glad you warned me about messing up the polish cause that would probably have been the first thing I did when I opened it. It def takes a degree of control not to pick it up right when you open it!

I get up every morning about 4:30, whether I need to or not. I wish I could say it was something I learned in the Marines, but I think I am just a lousy sleepr. Does get me started though, gives me time for my morning meditations, and I go to work out three mornings a week, that I really DO need.

Gotta keep in shape enough to play with my wonderful grandkids! Man, that can be exhausting!
