My very own french cut band

I have been lusting after a french cut band to pair with my 6 prong solitaire as my wedding band. The price quotes I received from respected Pricescope vendors were fairly high, as apparently french cuts require a lot of rough. I was half ready to pull the trigger on a well-respected vendor when a Pricescope friend found one on etsy. After extensive communication with the seller (who is also a PSer, I think!) I bought it. It came today and I am just so thrilled. I purchased it expecting it would need some rehab prior to my wedding (5 months away) but it really is in the most gorgeous condition! You'll have to pardon the lack of pictures. It was sunny out for about 5 minutes after the mailman arrived (or, let's be honest, after I arrived home to discover the mailman on my street and met him at his truck...).

Beautiful ring. Congratulations. I had to chuckle at you wearing it around the house. One time I picked out a diamond star pendant for Christmas and my DH was out for the day so I had it open and on the couch with sun coming in the window just to enjoy it. Boy was I surprised when DH came home for lunch unannounced.
