My wedding ring arrived!

I decided on a flat-ish 2mm platinum band as a wedding ring (until we can afford more diamonds!), since it would then sort of fade into the Bulgari Beast.

Well, I saw an estate one in my size on ebay and we bid on it, and won it for... about 60 bucks!

It arrived today and it's perfect. Exactly, and I mean EXACTLY what I wanted!

Well, ok, exactly what I want is a platinum, curved to fit ring, with 7 E Ideal Cut 10 pointers across the top. But that has to wait for an anniversary. Hopefully the first one? FI is hinting at that!

Here's the pic I posted in a previous thread with my 'fakey' that I was using for a model of what I wanted. It looks almost exactly like that with the new platinum band (as hoped!), so I won't bother taking new pics.

I''ve gotta say, The Beast deserves to stand on its own I think. It looks terrific with a plain band and I dont find myself thinking you need more bling (sorry, I cant enable you in good conscience on that one!)...Lovely.

I agree...the beauty (it''s not a beast!) looks great with the plain band and is a piece to stand on its own.
