Hello

I am so new to Pricescope but am very glad that I found it! When I purchased my enagegement ring abut 5 years ago, we had a very limited budget ($1,000) and I purchased my ring from a local jeweller - it was marked 50% off and the valuation says it is $2,000. Its 18kt white gold and has 3 tiny princess cut diamonds - I think they are 0.27 and 0.18 x 2 SI1 G/H. After now seeing so many gorgeous rings on here, I so want to upgrade. (Although I did just purchase some diamond studs 0.34ct each from BGD - on another thread....)

We are getting married in December and I chose a tiny micropave wedding band to go with my e-ring then decided it didn't look enough so purchased a plain 18ct white gold band to go with it. I'm not sure whether to put the tiny diamond band in between the plain band and the e-ring or on top of them?

Congrats! Pretty set!!!

I like the ering on top! :)

i love your sets. the third one is my fav.

beautiful set-I love the look of stacked rings :) I like it with the engagement ring on top best

I'm also going to agree that I like the lower pic the most - with the plain band, then above that the diamond band, then the ering on top.

Lovely set!

That's the way I love it too :D with my engagement ring on top.

My only decision now is which ring to use as part of the ceremony - the diamond one or the plain one? Or can I use both?

Very pretty and delicate set!!!! :appl:

I like the combo in the third picture best too.

engagement ring, diamond band, plain band...yes, definitely the third combo you show...AWESOME!

You have a very pretty set. I like the three stone on top, too, with the diamond band between. For the wedding, I like the idea of having him place both rings on, together. That way, they both are the "wedding rings." After, you can play with the arrangement as you like! Congratulations on the upcoming wedding.

Welcome and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Use both rings at your wedding and I really like set #3! Hope you have a beautiful day!

Thanks everyone for your comments. My fiance and I have been together wince we were 16 (we are highschool sweethearts!) and are now 32 so yep, almost 16 years together. We have a 3 year old son and have just decided to do the whole Sex in the City registry wedding at the Registry Office in Melbourne. We just want to be married and don't want all the fuss and $$$$ spent on us. We are also paying off our own 1940s style house so feel the $$ can be spent better on renovating that. We will just have our son and 2 witnesses with us so it will be special for us. :D

Very sweet set! Congratulations! It's a great thing to be able to put your money towards a home you can call your own.

I think I like it best with just the plain band. The clean metal looks very nice with your e-ring, very sleek and modern. If you were to wear all three rings I would put the diamond on first, then the plain band, then the e-ring. No matter what it will be lovely!

I like the last picture as well. It makes everything feel balanced! Congrats

I love your wedding set--it's so pretty! Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding :appl: Your set is lovely! I prefer the look of the ER on top of your bands too!
As far as the ceremony is concerned, i think that if it was me, i'd prefer my DH to put the plain band on my finger! That is exactly what i did actually, because we also had one diamond band and one plain one and we both chose the plain one for the ceremony! It's totally up to you though, whatever makes you happy! Does your fiance have a matching plain band which will be used for the ceremony? In that case, i think that it would be nice if the bands matched!!!

Thanks! Yes, I think I'll just do the plain band because my fiance also has a 3.5mm plain 18ct white gold dome band so they look the same.

me too - the diamond wb in the middle of the other 2 - pretty!
