My weekend with hints?

I spent the weekend with SO, hanging out and not doing much. I convinced him that he should let me help him get some items to help organize his apartment, so we were being silly, putting together bookshelves and whatnot. Out of the blue, he says, "man, I am just letting you go through ALL of my stuff. What if there was an engagement ring hidden here somewhere."

Sounds to me like something is on his mind

. Not to mention that he told me the other day not to try to organize his closet.... Hmmm... could something pretty be in the closet? I wonder. (I didn''t look though!)

Later, we were watching a movie, and something about marriage came up. He just looks at me and says," poor baby, always a bridesmaid, never a bride." I laughed and reminded him that I had never been a bridesmaid. He, however has been in several weddings. So, yup, he got the "Maybe you mean always a groomsmen and never a groom..." He just smiled awkwardly. Anyway, it seems like it''s on his mind, so we will see what happens in the coming months. Our 5th anni is this Thursday, and we are going to myrtle beach. I am not expecting a proposal, but he has been emphasizing that he hasn''t gotten me a present yet... so I don''t know what that means I am hoping for a peridot ring!

Thanks ladies! I am excited! Sadly we are expecting bad weather for most of the weekend, but SO says we can just cuddle and stay in, or we can play in the rain`

Either way, I am excited for a little getaway, even if it is only 3 days! And I love the the weather has cooled down, because I

sweater weather, and the evenings should be just perfect for cuddly sweaters! Yum!

I ordered custom champagne bottles for us, and I got them today, and they are super cute! Now I am a little worried that his other gift won''t be here before we leave, but it still has 3 more days to get here, and even so, I can give it to him on Sunday when we get back. I won''t let a minor setback ruin our weekend!
