My winky wonky diamond I’ve grown to love!

So I absolutely wrecked the heads of many of you about this ring, and was so sure about sending it back due to the low colour! But it has GROWN on me, so much so I’d say I love it! It sparkles, the setting is retro enough for me, the buttery 18ct gold and the warm colour of the stone seem to get on well together, and it has great finger coverage! Over this part of the world this is a big stone, as we don’t tend to go for upgrades. So here she is, my winky winky ring!

@Vanilla Bling @glitterata thank you so much! She’s really got me hooked, it just happened. I’m so glad I gave her a chance, I find myself just staring at my hand quite a bit! It seems so clear clarity wise, she really sparkles! I’m bringing her in tomorrow to have a little clean and assessment!

@junebug17 thank you, it took me a while, but as I was wearing it I couldn’t stop looking at it! I won’t see it on anyone else that’s for sure, and agreed I think the diamond just needed a chance to show off how pretty it was!

Thank you @MamaBee , it has just shown me that sometimes I need to take my time to some time appreciating something before making rash decisions!

@Mreader thank you, your input has been really helpful throughout! It really sucks you in, I had to use my husbands phone to take a good pic because my camera is useless! It’s not the traditional ideal faceting but it is so unique and sparkly!

@OboeGal thanks so much!! I love vintage retro which is what drew me to it in the first place but it’s turned out better than I thought! So comfy to wear, it fits my thumb and index finger best which I’m loving!

It would’ve fooled me. It looks like a transitional to my eyes! In any case I really like the pattern and the photos you took are really good.

It really looks like a transitional to me with the new photos, my camera is so poor that I’d say that’s why it may have been questioned! With these pictures I’m definitely thinking it’s a transitional/early round!

@Lisa Loves Shiny I’m intrigued to find out too, it was bought as a k and si1 1.5ct but I’m bringing it in today to check it out properly! It’s definitely waaaaay warmer! I think it’s much clearer than si1, I could find nothing! I’ll update as soon as I’m home!
